Darmstadt Wine Festival

The Darmstadt Wine Festival has been held on the 1st weekend in September for over 30 years.

Unfortunately, the festival will have to pause again in 2021. The reason is the lack of planning security and the fact that, in view of the requirements and restrictions, a wine festival - as winemakers, food stalls and visitors from the past know and appreciate - cannot take place this year.

Red Riesling

Did you know that there is "Red Riesling" at the Bergstraße? The Riesling-grape in its original version had a reddish skin. Only in the course of time did it become brighter.
